The contributor supplies the experience once. The reviewer takes responsibility for preparing the approved public lesson.
The verified contributor explains what happened, the lesson another project could use and the recommended action. Optional details, photographs and evidence sit on the same form.
The reviewer checks the contribution, prepares anonymised public wording, confirms the classifications and evidence rating, and adds the lesson image where appropriate.
The reviewer previews the completed page and publishes it when satisfied. The contributor does not have to manage any additional workflow stages.
The reviewer prepares a separate public record. Identifying contributor and project information remains within the protected source submission.
The original material may be identifiable and may include confidential supporting evidence.
The published record contains only the reviewed learning required for professional application.
The assigned reviewer considers whether the information supports a usable lesson for other construction professionals and whether the proposed action is proportionate to the available evidence.
What material supports the account, outcome and proposed learning?
Is the connection between context, cause, action and outcome credible?
Can another team recognise where, when and how this learning applies?
What qualifications or boundaries are needed to prevent over-application?
Contributing to NCQLE is separate from any immediate, contractual, regulatory or statutory reporting action that may be required.
Immediate risks must be reported through the project and appropriate statutory arrangements without delay.
NCQLE does not replace contractual notices, regulatory reports, whistleblowing routes or specialist reporting systems.
Material may be returned for clarification, referred elsewhere, rejected or retained without public publication.
